Through co-design Action Audio worked with blind/low vision NBA fans to create the first spatial audio broadcast for fans to get more information during NBA games.

EDGE Sound Research (Riverside, California)

Embodied sound technology that leverages standard audio inputs to produce audible, haptic and tactile sensation directly to a fan within an arena or at home for sports, music, and gaming.

R&D Project

EDGE installed their system in select NBA and 2K arena seating and flooring to test the impact of their embodied audio and physical sound delivered to fans in their seats during live games.

nVenue (Houston, Texas)

Sports betting platform that uses machine learning and AI to generate game-relevant probabilities and micro-bets for fans to engage with in real-time.

nVenue built a basketball-specific micro-betting curation engine that leverages NBA assets to create unique, contextual in-game micro-betting markets, props, and parlays.

SkillCorner (Paris, France)

Technology uses computer vision and machine learning to generate player tracking data from existing video feeds (i.e., tracking data with no cameras/hardware).

SkillCorner built and validated its basketball product against current tracking systems as well as historical video footage from NBA games, affiliate leagues, and elite youth competitions.

AI-based technology that transforms MRI data into a 3D digital twin, quantifying an athlete’s musculature for precision health and performance optimization.

Springbok Analytics analyzed lower extremity MRIs to evaluate the benefits of adding quantitative 3D muscle volume data to soft-tissue injury prevention models and better inform return to play decisions.

Tagboard built a new data connector to ingest NBA data in real-time, so producers can seamlessly design, edit, and launch in-game graphic overlays on broadcast and livestreams at the click of a mouse.
